Fire Hydrant Ordinance

Please remember each property owner that is adjacent to, or across the street from a fire hydrant is responsible for making sure that the snow is cleared from the hydrant sufficient to provide ready access to emergency personnel. The Summit County Ordinance requires that snow be removed from an area of three (3) feet surrounding the base of the hydrant. Please click here for additional information.

11/16/21 – Service Interruption in Jeremy Ranch

Water service to Sackett Drive and Broken Hill Drive will be temporarily shut-off on Tuesday, November 16th beginning at 9:00 am and will be off until approximately 5:00 pm, due to a leak repair. Homes on Sackett Drive below Cheyenne Way may have water during this time, but you may incur low pressure. We apologize for the inconvenience and will work quickly to return water service.

09/27/21 – Service Interruption – Service Restored

Summit Water will be working on an emergency leak repair on Sackett Drive today, September 27th. Water service will be temporarily discontinued between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m for the homes located on Sackett Drive, Broken Hills Drive, Cheyenne Way, and Lower Lando Lane. We will work diligently to return water service to you in a timely manner. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Backflow Prevention Testing

If you haven’t done so already, please remember to have your Backflow Prevention Assembly tested BEFORE you turn off your irrigation system for winter, this includes irrigation and fire suppression assemblies.
